Man Builds Full Scale Mercedes F1 From 956,000 Matchsticks

You better call Michael Arndt a man of matchsticks. . Arnst toiled for six long years, used 956,00 matchsticks which were coupled together with 1686 glue tubes, and three kinds of mustache to build an inimitable and rare matchstick Mercedes model of McLaren 4/41 F1 car. The well-thought project set him back 6000 Euros.

The incredible piece of craft can seat one person and can be split into 45 parts for transportation to different matchstick-builders conventions. The replica of car is huge and occupies Arnst’s whole kitchen.
