MOTOROLA UPGRADES SLVR
With the same shape as the original MOTOSLVR L7, Motorola has upgraded the phone from black to blue.
The Motorola SLVR L7e is an upgrade to their candybar style phone.
On the surface, the only change other than the new blue color is a new keypad with rows of numbers instead of the previously offset keys.
The L7e features quad-band GSM with an upgrade to EDGE data, a 1.3 Megapixel camera with higher resolution video recording and 8x digital zoom, and new software similar to the RIZR and KRZR including better navigation, photo editing, and stereo Bluetooth capabilities.
The handset has Push-To-Talk, Push-To-View, a 1.3 megapixel camera with 8x digital zoom, full screen video capture with 4x digital zoom and video playback, A2DP Stereo Bluetooth2 connectivity, progressive downloading and video Streaming, GPRS and EDGE Class 10 technology, GSM quad-band technology, MMS, IM and email. The handset provides up to 20 MB of Internal User Memory and supports up to 2 GB of expandable MicroSD External Memory Card. Finally there is an integrated audio player, supporting audio formats in MP3, AAC, AAC , and ACC Enhanced music files.
The SLVR L7e has not been chosen by any US carriers; it is not scheduled for release in the States.
