Stacking the Deck : Secrets of the World's Master Card Architect



Have you ever heard about Brian Berg? He is the holder of the Guinness World Record for the World's Tallest House of Cards. He won his first Guinness Record in 1992, when he was only 17.

Brian started stacking cards when he was 8. He was introduced by his granfather, but he soon developed his own tricks and techniques in the fine art of card stacking.


His actual Guinness Record for the highest card building is over 25 feet tall. Nothing else but playing cards and lots of patience are used by Brian Berg when he builds his amazing structures.

In 2004, Guinness created a new record category for the World's Largest House of Cards to recognize a project Berg built for Walt Disney World--a replica of Cinderella's Castle.

Brian has toured virtually every major U.S. city and in Japan, Denmark, and Germany.

Berg has also appeared on CBS This Morning, Good Morning America, The Today Show, Ellen Degeneres, Martha Stewart Unsifted, Guinness Prime Time, Ripley's Believe It Or Not, The Discovery Channel, CNN and various foreign shows.

His work has been featured in nearly every newspaper in the USA, in addition to publications such as Wired, Reader's Digest, Men's Health, Games Magazine, Maxim, The National Enquirer, National Geographic For Kids, Time Magazine for Kids, and 321 Contact.

He has also worked for Walt Disney World, Star Wars, San Francisco Opera, Neopets/Wizards of the Coast, Fuji Television Japan, Post Cereal, Pinnacle Brands, Topps, Baseball Hall of Fame, DMG World Media, Procter and Gamble.Projects have also been produced with organizations such as Coca-Cola, Pepsi, American Airlines, Major League Baseball, National Hockey League.



Brian Berg has written a book titled Stacking the Deck : Secrets of the World's Master Card Architect
In this book, Berg reveals all the techniques and tricks he has learn through many years building card structures and buildings.

It is a very interesting book to read, because Berg tells the story of his life, and how he become a professional cardstacker.
